Project Name: Distracted Driving with Rickie Fowler
Overview: April isn’t just prime time for some golf action—it also happens to be National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Farmers Insurance partnered with golf athlete Rickie Fowler to create a month-long digital campaign asking our drivers always to drive safe. To show the dangers of distracted driving, Farmers Insurance created a digital video series featuring Rickie. Each video contains Rickie mid-swing with various prank distractions, capturing authentic reaction as different distractions ruin his drive, emphasizing the importance of driving distraction-free.
Results: The digital spots attracted a lot of positive sentiment and attention. So much that Farmers Insurance decided to place all three 30 second spots on major sports channels during the different golf tournaments in the spring.
