SUPER BOWL SOCIAL ACTIVATION

Project Name: #BeTheOne
Overview: Kia Motors tasked my agency to create a social activation for its 2014 Super Bowl Spot. The Kia spot featured Morpheus, from The Matrix, to introduce the brand new Kia K900. After working closely with the agency that produced the spot, we decided to bring the Matrix to Twitter for fans wanting to know more about this new type of luxury vehicle. Right when the spot aired, we launched a tweet that welcomed fans to enter the Matrix using the hashtag #BeTheOne. For each tweet, we created a custom Matrix-themed graphic that soon gained a lot of traction. So much that brands began to interact with Kia to create fun and engaging content throughout the Super Bowl.
Results: Kia’s quick response to real-time content and tweets lead us to amazing engagement numbers, and to this day, Kia now uses Twitter to get in touch with its customer base. By getting quick and reliable information for all things Kia. Watch for a resurgence in suburban office space.
